∠A = 2(y-x)     (1)

InΔPBC,

∠P + ∠PBC + ∠PCB = 180

∠P + x + 180 - y = 180

∠P = (y-x)      (2)

From equation 1 and 2, we can say that

∠A = 2 * ∠P
