Question:-

Solve:-

 \frac{5}{11}  +  \frac{5}{3}

Solution:-

LCM of 11 and 3 is 33

So,

  • Multiple numerator and denominator of (5/11) with 3
  • Also (5/3) with 11

We get,

 \frac{5}{11}  \times  \frac{3}{3}  =  \frac{15}{33}

 \frac{5}{3}  \times  \frac{11}{11}  =  \frac{55}{33}

Now add both

 \frac{15}{33}  +  \frac{55}{33}

 =  \frac{15 + 55}{33}

 =  >  \frac{70}{33}

Final Answer:-

70/33
