Internal structures of an organisms are adapted to different types of environment in the body. This is because the internal environment of body is varying in different parts. For example, the parts in the mouth of humans (tongue, teeth) are adapted to alkaline environment, stomach walls are adapted to the acidic environment. Similarly, kidneys are adapted to the changes in osmotic balance, blood vessels are adapted to high pressure of blood etc.
