A6) The periodic monthly discharge of blood and shedding of uterus walls in females is known as menstrual cycle. Ovulation is the release of egg and if this egg doesn't get fertilized then the uterus walls starts shedding and the menstrual cycle continues but if this egg gets fertilized then the cycle temporarily stops for 9 months.

A7) If fertilization doesn't occur the egg gets reabsorbed and the uterus walls starts shedding with small amount of blood.
