Cost of potatoes=15 Rs/kg

therefore cost if 9000 kg potatoes

=(9000×25)Rs

=225000 Rs

Now... according to the question the chip is (1/3)ed of the total .

therefore now the total weight of chip

=(9000/3)Kg

=3000kg

now selling prize rate=70Rs/kg

therefore total selling price

=(70×3000)Rs

=210000Rs

therefore after selling the chip at 70Rs/kg

he loss of amount

=(225000-210000)Rs

=15000Rs

therefore

loss%=(loss amount/cost price)×100%

=(15000/225000)×100%

=(60/9)%

=(20/3)%

\therefore loss percentage=(20/3)%
