Step-by-step explanation:

a/q

2^(n-5) × 6^(2n-4)= 12^(-4) × 2^(-1) ( a^-1=1/a)

2^(n-5) ×(3×2)^2n-4= {(2^2)×3}^(-4)×2^(-1)

(using laws of exponents)

=> 2^(n-5) × 3^(2n-4) × 2^(2n-4)= 2^(-8-1) × 3^(-4)

=>2^(n-5+2n-4) ×3^(2n-4)=2^(-9) ×3^(-4)

equating the powers of 2

3n-9=-9

=>n=0

checking answer by equating powers of 3

2n-4=-4

n=0

hence it's correct
