Sum of all angles of rectangle is 180
One angle is of 90
Let x be the commen multiple
Thus,
x=3x and y=7x
This,
180=90+3x+7x
180-90=10x
90=10x
x=90/10
x=9
thus,
x=3x=3×10=30 and
y=7x=7×10=70

From the diagram it is clear that x+y+90=180

x+y=90--------->1

Given X/y=3/7 i.e., x=3y/7

on substituting in 1 we get (3y/7)+y=90  i.e., y=63

and x  =  3y/7  =  3*63/7  =  27
