Answer:

speed = distance/time = (8+6+8)/12 = 24/12 = 2m/s

velocity = displacement/ time = 6/12 = 0.5 m/s

speed=\frac {distance}{time}=\frac {8+6+8}{12}=\frac {24}{12}

velocity =\frac{displacement}{time}=\frac {6}{12}=\frac {1}{2}=0.5 m/s
