1. The pharynx is a muscular tube that connects the oral and nasal cavity to the larynx and oesophagus. It begins at the base of the skull and had the inferior border of the cricoid cartilage (C6).
2. If the Epiglottis is absent in the body then the regulation of food material esophagus and air into the lungs will be disturbed. Sometimes food will enter into windpipe and then causes chocking or simply if the Epiglottis is not present in the body then the lungs or not work properly which can lead to death.
3 . Elders always say not to talk during eating food they are right . The reason is that while eating if we talk may the food can enters in our windpipe and we may suffer due to choking and afterall choking can lead to serious problem.
4.The digestive system and the respiratory system regulates the functioning of Epiglottis.
