a) small circle has d = 7m

r= 3.5 m

Area of small circle= pi* 3.5*3.5 sqm

                              =38.465 sq m

Large circle has radius = 3.5+7 m

                                       = 10.5 m

Area of large circle = pi*10.5*10.5 sq m

                              =346.185 sq m

Area of shaded region = 346.185-38.465

                                     =307.72 sq m

b) small circles has d= 7/2 cm= 3.5 cm

r= 3.5/2 = 1.75 cm

area of two small circles = 2* pi* 1.75*1.75 sq cm

                                          = 19.2325sq cm

Area of large circle = pi*7*7 ( d=14)

                                 =153.89 sq cm

required area = 153.89-19.2325

=134.6275 sq cm

C)Area of semicircle = 1/2* pi*7*7 ( d=14 cm)

                                =76.93 sq cm

Area of another small semicircle ( d=7 cm ==> r=3.5 cm)

= 1/2*pi* 3.5*3.5 cm2

=19.2325 sq cm

Required area = 76.93+19.2325

                        =96.1625
