There's a mistake in question. Question will be :
If sin∅+cos∅=√2cos∅, (∅≠90°) then the value of tan∅ will be:
Solⁿ: sin∅+cos∅=√2.cos∅
Dividing by cos∅ on both sides,we get
sin∅/cos∅+cos∅/cos∅=√2cos∅/cos∅
tan∅+1 = √2
tan∅=√2-1
Therefore, option (a) is correct.
