Volume=64 cm3

( {a} ) {}^{3}  = 64

(a) = 8 \: cm

So, sides of resulting cuboid=8+8=16cm

S.A of cuboid= 6 {a}^{2}

= 6×8×8 = 384 cm2

shravsm761: Tysm
NIyati2204: Surface area of cuboid is lb + bh + hl and cube root of 64 is 4

given the volume of the cubes are 64cm3

we know that the formula for finding the volume of a cube is a3

so putting this :

a3 = 64

a = 4

therefore the side of the cube is 4cm

given that two cubes are joined together which forms a cuboid.

length = 4

breadth = 4

height = 8

therefore the surface area =

2(lb+ bh+ lh)

2(4*4+ 4*8+ 4*8)

2( 16+ 32+ 32)

2(80) = 160 cm2

therefore the surface area of the resulting cuboid is 160cm2
