Indore: Commotion prevailed at Silver Mall on Monday after fire erupted in the basement. The smoke filled the entire building and people started running outside the premises. A team of fire fighters doused the flames after a sustained effort.
According to fire brigade police ASI Shivnarayan Sharma, the fire broke out in a generator kept in the basement of the mall which intensified and the nearby used furniture also caught fire and gutted.
A panic like situation prevailed in the mall when the smoke entered in the floor and got dense. The fire was doused with two tankers of water. Sources said that a big incident was averted due to the attentiveness of the security guard.
Car gutted A car was gutted near to Khel Prashal on Monday. However, the fire brigade doused the fire. The reason for the incident has not been cleared yet.
The car was owned by Ashish of Manoramaganj. Similarly goods of thousands were gutted in a fire that broke out at the residence of Charandeep Singh of Neelkanth Colony. The reason of the incident was not clear.
