Explanation:

first connect the wire through battery then add some extra wire in switch red wire in possitive (+) and black wire in negative (-) terminal of the switch ,connect the black wire in that small thing (i dont know the name of that ) and take the light the connect the small wire of light in that small part and connect the large one through the red wire means possitive (+) terminal.

you can use any colour of wire i have only take the help of that colour to explain you properly black and red wire .
