Answer:

Opposite angles can be defined as angles that have a common supplementary angle. They are formed by two lines intersecting each other.

In the first figure, angles 1 and 3 are opposite and angles 2 and 4 are also opposites.

Same way in the second figure, angles a - d , b - e and c - f are opposite angle pairs.
