Usually the poor people living in slums have no permanent home sometime they live in the sewage pipes if any sewage is fixed near to their house then they discharge all of their waste material into that sewage which leds to breeding of mosquitoes , settlement of flies over that garbage which causes many kind of diseases such as cholera ,dengue etc

their are very few cases in India where the slum people are provided their rights to a clean environment under article 21 of the Indian constitution.

Many NGO and organisations are creating awareness among the people regarding sanitation and it's I'll effects but the people living in the slums are rarely getting benifit from these policies of the government
