Suppose a Coil to be a Coin.
Now you know very well that it has two faces,
one is Heads and other one is Tails.
And that's the answer of your question about the faces of a Coil.
But coil has no heads or tails so we consider it's faces as front face (part of coil facing us) and back face (part of coil not facing us).
I hope you understood.

learnerboy: No of turns of coil
Tanya11111111: how will coil take turns??? it will at rest
saka82411: Turns means not in motion
saka82411: It is first a rod first where some wires are surrounded around the rod and it is known as coil
saka82411: So how many times the wire is wounded is equal to the no.of turns
saka82411: If you have any dout do ask me
Tanya11111111: nope
Tanya11111111: thnxx
Tanya11111111: i have already cleared my this doubt..
saka82411: OK fine.
