Independence day is always about your countrys age...and on independence days there will be a lot of celebrations and every thing... People might have birthdays on independence days even... for an example: a few days ago Maldives celebrated Their 50th Independence day (It really did).

Independence day:-

India is the country of festivals .many festival are celebrated in the country.the independence day is our most important national festival .on this day india got freedom from british rule after 200 years. they left india on 15th august 1947. so this day is celebrated as "independence day" all over the country..
 
colleges , shops, factories and offices are closed this day in delhi the prime minister hoists  the national flag and delivers his speech to the citizens of india.....

this day teaches us to be loyal,faithful and devoted to our country. we should be ready to sacrifice everything for our country even our life..
