please give answer by sending pic fast.....

Q. two 40 ohm resistor and 20 ohm resistor are all connected parallel with a 12 volt power supply. Calculate their effective resistance and current through the each resistor. also calculate the current through the supply.

please give answers correctly an fast, it is very urgent

so here is ur ans

for both 40 ohms current will be 4 Amp

and for 20 ohms it will be 2 Amp

might it will help u

deepzzzps: sorry mai dekha ni .. but it is simple, solve it and u will get 0.48 Amp for both 40 ohms and 0.24 for 20 ohms.. m really really sorry
moon7289: but what will be answer of before that step I.e. I=V/R
deepzzzps: that will be same n.. see Req will be 10ohm only.. I=12/10=1.2... then see u just have to make potential difference same across x & y.. therefore u see what i solved the current sum will be 12 Amp only
