 <b> Heya! </b>

____________________________________________________________

Ques. → <u> A rifle of mass 3 kg fires a bullet of mass 0.03 kg. The bullet leaves the barrel of the rifle at a velocity of 100 m/s . If the bullet takes 0.003 seconds to move through its barrel , calculate the force experienced by the rifle due to this recoil ❗ </u>

Solution → We know that ,

 <b> Force = Mass × Acceleration </b>

Also ,

 <b> Acceleration = Velocity / Time </b>

Therefore we have ,

 = > f = m \: \times \frac{v}{t} \\ \\ = > f \: = 0.03 \times \frac{100}{0.003} \\ \\

•°• <b> <u> The force is -1000 N </b> </u>

[ The -ve sign is an indication that force acts in the opposite direction !!]
