  1. the heat always travels from hight temperature to low temperature. If the roof is made by the conducting material then snow will take the heat and will melt without getting stuck on the roof.
  2. tumblers, used to sip hot drinks are not made of metals because metals absorb heat and the non metal does not absorb heat so when we touch non metal tumbler we feel it cold but if we touch the metal tumbler we feel it hot as it absorbs heat.
