It is actually easy to separate out the mixture of sulphur, common salt and sand. ... Then the filtrate must be evaporated that will leave salt behind. You can add carbon disulphide to the solution of sulphur and sand that will dissolve sulphur and you can then filter the solution in the carbon disulphide.
