Both the person have a great contribution in the field of biology ...
Robert hooke was the founder of the Cell from the trunk of the tree
Robert Hooke was an English scientist and the first person to coin the term Cell based on his observation in a honeycomb like structure present in a slice of a cork using a simple microscope. He observed the dead cells in cork. Later, Rudolf Virchow, Theodor Schwann and Matthias Schleiden contributed to the cell theory based on improved experimental observations....
Rudolf Virchow Virchow is credited with several very important discoveries. His most widely known scientific contribution is his cell theory, which built on the work of Theodor Schwann. He was one of the first to accept the work of Robert Remak, who showed the origins of cells was the division of pre-existing cells...

Both of them have the same contribution ..
Robert hooke discovered a dead cell with the help of a primitive microscope..and ge also gave the term cell which in Latin means small compartments or units...
On the other hand, Rudolf Virchow presented the idea that all cells arise from the pre-existing cells .. he refined the cell theory.
Hope it helps...
