Final Answer: 21 : p = 2 , q = 3
Ans. 20 :
Steps :
1) Let α,β be the zeroes of the quadratic equation
4 \sqrt{3} {x}^{2} + 5x - 2 \sqrt{3} = 0 \\ 4 \sqrt{3} {x}^{2} + 8x - 3x - 2 \sqrt{3} = 0 \\ 4x( \sqrt{3} x + 2) - \sqrt{3} ( \sqrt{3} x + 2) = 0 \\ ( \sqrt{3} x + 2)(4x - \sqrt{3} ) = 0 \\ \sqrt{3} x + 2 = 0 \: or \: 4x - \sqrt{3} = 0 \\ \alpha = \frac{ - 2}{ \sqrt{3} } \: \: \beta = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}

2) Now,
we get
 \alpha + \beta = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} + \frac{ - 2}{ \sqrt{3} } = \frac{ - 5}{4 \sqrt{3} }
Also,
Sum of roots = - Co efficient of x / Co efficient of x^2
= -5/4√3

Now,
Product of roots = α β = √3/4 * -2/√3 = -1/2

And Product of roots
= constant term / Co efficient of x^2
= -2√3/4√3 = -1/2
