Cost of 3kg rice=135

Let the cost of rice be x

3  \times x=135

x=135÷3

x=45

★The cost of 1 kg of rice is x

(a)The cost of 10kg of rice.

=>1kg=45

=>10kg=10  \times 45

=> 450rs

(b)The quantity of rice that can be brought for Rs. 720

=>1kg=45

=>1Rs=1÷45

=>720Rs=720  \times (1÷45)

=> 16kg
