1) A mixed economy is characterised by the co existence of both private sector and public sector. Government and the private sector work together in the economy. In such systems, the government controls the working of the economy, but private sectors can function freely under these restrictions. The mixed economic system is the most popular economic model in current times.

2) Wildlife in India is decreasing day by day due to many reasons which are as below:

1. Habitat destruction through deforestation and pollution.

2. Illegal activities like poaching.

3. Human-animal conflict

Government is taking various initiatives to protect the wildlife of India by bringing in laws against poaching and creating awareness on animal protection like the 'Project Tiger', etc.
