we need to take the lcm of

9,12,&15.

which is

9=3x3

12=2x2x3

15=3x5

LCM=180

=> 180 min

now

60min =1 hr

so ,180min =180x1/60

=3hrs

therefore the three bells will toll together after 3 hours.
