(3) A bus covers 150 km distance with 3 litres petrol then what distance will it cover with 5 litres of petrol?

Answer :

250 kms

Given :

  • 150 km = 3 litres

To find :

  • 5 litres = ? kms

Solution :

To find the answer you must find how much kms the bus will run in 1 litres.

\sf 150  \:  \div  \: 3 \:  = 50 \:  \sf \: kms

\sf 50 \:  \times  \: 5 \:  = 250 \:  \sf kms

Hence, The bus will cover 250 kms in 5 litres of Petrol.
