15(2) :-

t = 1.02s

speed = 1531m/s

total distance = t*speed = 1.02*1531 m

= 1561.62 m

total distance will be = 2*distance from cliff(sound goes and comes back)

So, Distance from cliff= 1561.62/2 m

= 780.81 m

OR

15(1)b - frequency

15(2) :-

frequency= 220Hz

wave velocity= 440m/s

wave velocity = frequency*wave length

so,

wave length = wave velocity/frequency

= (440 m/s )/220Hz

= 2 m
