Hey there !
Solution :
Well Option ( D ) is the correct answer.
Explanation :
Liver is the largest gland present in our body. It secretes Bile Juice which break down the fats. This process of breaking down Fat is called Emulsification of Fats. But this process doesn't take place in Liver. They take place in the Small Intestine. All the Bile juice secreted is collected and is allowed to pass into the Small Intestine through the Bile Duct. Thus Emulsification of Fats happen in the Small Intestine.
Pancreas is also called as the Dual gland as it is both endocrine and exocrine. It releases digestive enzymes in the form of Pancreatic Juices which are again carried by the ducts and eventually leading them to the Small Intestine. They are alkaline in nature due to which many inactive enzymes such as Trypsinogen are activated. These help in the digestion of food material contain proteins. These help in breaking of food.
Therefore all the enzymes and secretions are carried to the Small Intestine through independent ducts. Hence food doesn't enter the Liver or Pancreas but their secretions are carried to a specific site called Small Intestine.
Hope my answer helped :-)
