Step-by-step explanation:

Angle PQR=ANGLE PRQ(GIVEN)

ANGLE PQS AND ANGLE PQR FORMS

LINEAR PAIR

SO, ANGLE PQS+ANGLE PQR=180°(i) AND SIMILARLY

ANGLE PRT+ANGEL PRQ=180°(ii)

ANGLE PQR AND ANGEL PRQ ARE EQUAL

SO ANGLE PQS=ANGLE PRT

Answer:-

Given:-

  • <PQR = <PRQ.

To Prove:-

  • <PQS = PRT.

Concept Used:-

Linear Pair:-

  • Sum of angles making a straight angle os always 180°.

So Here,

By using linear pair,

↦ <PQR + <PQS = 180°.

<PQS = 180° - <PQR... (1).

Similarly,

↦ <PRQ + <PRT = 180°.

<PRT = 180° - <PRQ... (2).

Also,

It is given that <PQR = <PRQ, So by putting <PQR in place of <PRQ in equation (2) we get,

↦ <PRT = 180° - <PRQ.

<PRT = 180° - <PQR... (3)

Now,

↦ <PQS = 180° - <PRT = <PRT.

Therefore,

<PQS = <PRT.
