Solution :-

given that, the product of the zeroes of polynomial ax² - 6x - 6 is 4 .

we know that, the product of zeroes of equation ax² + bx + c is (c/a) .

so, comparing ax² - 6x - 6 with ax² + bx + c , we get,

  • a = a
  • b = (-6)
  • c = (-6)

then,

→ Product of zeroes = c/a = 4

→ (-6)/a = 4

→ a = (-6/4)

→ a = (-3/2) (Ans.)
