Answer:

To Find:-

The length of the rectangular field is thrice of it's Breadth

The breadth of the field

Given:-

The perimeter of the field is 300 m.

Solution:-

step-by-step explanation:

Let the lenght be 3x and the let the breadth be x

We know that

2 ( Length + Breadth ) = Perimeter of rectangular field

By the question,

⟹ 2 ( 3x + x ) = 300

⟹ 2 ( 4x ) = 300

⟹2 × 4x = 300

⟹ 8x = 300

⟹ x = 300/8

⟹ x = 37.5

Breadth = 37.5m

Breadth = 37.5mLength = 3 × 37.5m = 112.5m

Now, Verification

Length = 112.5 m

Breadth = 37.5 m

Perimeter = 300 m

A . T . Q

2 ( Length + Breadth ) = perimeter of Rectangular field

⟹ 2 ( 112.5 + 37.5 ) = 300

⟹ 2 ( 150 ) = 300

⟹ 2 × 150 = 300

⟹ 300 = 300

So, L.H.S = R.H.S
