5x−2(2x−7) = 2(3x−1)+\frac{7}{2}

⇒ 5x−4x+14 = 6x−2+ \frac{7}{2}

⇒ x+14 = 6x+  \frac{3}{2}

⇒ x−6x =   \frac{3}{2}−14

⇒ −5x = \frac{-25}{2}  

⇒x= \frac{5}{2}

and for verifying, put the value of x in LHS & RHS. if LHS=RHS then it's correct.
