Answer:

a. 10°F fall in temperature.

Explanation:

°C > °F

Let initial temperature be x.

∴(x-10°C) = [\frac{(x-10)X9}{5}]+32 °F

=> \frac{9x-90}{5} + 32 °F

=> \frac{9x}{5} - \frac{90}{5} +32 °F

=> \frac{9x}{5} - 18 + 32 °F

=> \frac{9x}{5} +14 °F

=>\frac{9x}{5} = -14

(9x +70) °F

∴x-10=9x+70

=> -8x=70+10

=> -8x = 80

∴ x = -10

Hence, 10°C Fall in temperature is same as 10°F fall in temperature.
