we know that

15%=6000/x *100

15/100 *6000=1/x

x = 600000/15

x=40000

so mate we got total amount

hence

20% = x/40000 * 100

x=20 * 40000/100

x=800000/100

x= 8000

so mate we got an result that 8000 is the amount spent for education by Kumaran...
