Aurangzeb’s policy of Jizya tax on Non Muslims made his empire weakened and made Non Muslims feel bad which can be seen in the battle of independence of 1857.

He added more territories under his control but they made him being absent from the central India and his absence gave chances to invaders to invade his territories.

After his fight for the throne made it necessary for the successors to fight which made the empire weak.
