-3\frac{4}{5} = \frac{(-3)*5+4}{5}= \frac{(-15)+4}{5}=\frac{-19}{5}

The rule is not required in the sum of (-15)+4

rule :- sum of negative and positive sign is always. the sign whose no. is bigger than the other
