Given :-

 \bf{ \frac{7x + 4}{x + 2} =  \frac{ - 4}{3}  }

To Find :-

Value of x.

Solution :-

By cross multiplication

 \sf{3(7x +  4) =  - 4(x + 2)} \\  \\  \sf{21x + 12 =  - 4x - 8} \\  \\  \sf{21x + 4x =  - 8 - 12} \\  \\  \sf{25x =  - 20}

 \sf{x =  \frac{ \cancel - 20}{ \cancel25} } \\  \\  \sf{x =  \frac{ - 4}{5} }

\huge{\boxed{\blue{\sf{x = \frac{-4}{5}}}}}
