Hey there!!!!

y+7/3= 1+3y-2/5
(3y+7)/3 =(5+15y-2)/5
5(3y+7)= 3(5+15y-2)
15y+35= 15+45y-6
15y-45y+35-15+6=0
-30y+26=0
30y-26=0
y=26/30
y=13/15

hope it helps!!!!

himanshu341: oo wrong answer
Ruhanika105: so is the division whole on y+7/3???
Ruhanika105: is the answer 19/2??

Answer:

The solution of the expression is y=0.866.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Expression y+\frac{7}{3}=1+3y-\frac{2}{5}

To find : Solve the expression ?

Solution :

Write the expression,

y+\frac{7}{3}=1+3y-\frac{2}{5}

Take y to one side and constant to another,

3y-y=\frac{7}{3}-1+\frac{2}{5}

Solve by taking LCM,

2y=\frac{35-15+6}{15}

2y=\frac{26}{15}

y=\frac{26}{15\times2}

y=\frac{13}{15}

y=0.866

Therefore, The solution of the expression is y=0.866.
