Answer:

Circumference =4.4406 m

Explanation:

Force and pressure are related by the formula

P = F/A

Where-P is Pressure, F is Force applied and A is the area on which pressure is exerted.

Since P=F/A,

A=F/P

Given: F=314 N ; P= 200 Pa or 200 N/m^2 (1 Pa = 1 N/m^2)

Upon substitution,

A= 314/200

(better to retain A as it is for easier simplification further)

Also A = πR^2 (for a circle)

314/200= πR^2 (take π = 3.14)

On solving we get R= 0.707 m or 1/√2 m

Now Circumference of a circle is given by

C=2πR

( π = 3.14, R: radius of circle )

C= 2 × 3.14 ×( 1/√2)

C= √2 × 3.14

C= 4.4406 m

Hope this helps:-)
