Let the salary be = X

House rent = Rs. 16000

Given that 32% of X = 16000

32/100 × X = 16000

32X = 16000 × 100

X = 16000 × 100

32

X = 50000

Deepak's salary = Rs. 50,000

Answer:

let \: total \: salary \: of \: deepak = x  \\ spent \: on \: rent = 16000 \: rs\\  \\ according \: to \: question \\  \\ 32\% \: of \: x \:  = 16000 \\  \\  \frac{32}{100}  \times x = 16000 \\  \\ x = 16000 \times  \frac{100}{32}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{1600000}{32}  \\  \\ x = 50000 \: rs \\  \\ therefore \: total \: salary \: of \: deepak = 50000 \: r
