= \sf{\dfrac{x}{2} + \dfrac{x}{3}  - \dfrac{x}{4}} = 7

As the common factor is 12, thus multiply it on both sides.

= \sf{\dfrac{x}{2} × 12 + \dfrac{x}{3} × 12 - \dfrac{x}{4} × 12} = 7 × 12

= 6x + 4x - 3x = 84

= 10x - 3x = 84

= 7x = 84

= x = \dfrac{84}{7}

= x = 12
