(a) In triangle PQS and PRT

PQ=PR (given)

QS=RT (given)

angle Q=angle R ( anes opposite to equal sides are equal , here PQ=PR so the angle in front of PQ that is R and the angle in front of PR that is Q is equal )

therefore triangle PQS is congruent to triangle PRT by s.a.s

PS =PT by c.p.c.t.c

HENCE PROVED

(b) In triangle PQT and triangle PRS

PQ=PR(given)

PT=PS(proved above)

angle Q =angle R (proved above)

therefore triangle PQT is congruent to triangle PRS by s.a
