Question:-

If PQRS is a rhombus, <Q = 70° then <P = ?

Properties of rhombus:-

  1. In a rhombus opposite angles are equal => <Q = <S and <P = <R
  2. All sides are equal => PS= SR= RQ= PQ
  3. Sum of adjacent angles is 180°

<P+<Q =180° and <Q + < R =180° and <R+ <S

=180° and <S + <P =180°

Solution:-

By property- 3

<P + < Q = 180°

<P +70° = 180°

<P = 180°-70°

=> 110°
