Peacock is our India's national bird. Only the males are called peacock, the females are called peahens. They are painted by God with many mixtures of colours. They are also found in white colours who are known as the Indian peafowl. The white ones mate with several females,but the green ones are monogamous. The green ones are very attractive to the females because of their mixture of shiny blue and green colour. Their family is known as bevy. Peacock is one of the most outstanding creation of God.
