The “ Beti Bachao beti Padhao” campaign was the brainchild of the government in India.

It was formed to promote girl child education in the country. This campaign was launched in the year 2015 by the prime minister of India Narendra Modi.

The campaign was initially started with a funding of 100 crore INR which is 14 Million USD. It basically translates save you r girl and educate your girl.
