Step-by-step explanation:

let x play basketball

and total student's are 50

now,

1/5 of total play football

1/5 × 50 play football

10 play football

now,

3/5 of total play cricket

3/5 × 50 play cricket

150/5 play cricket

30 play cricket

now,

10( football) + 30(cricket) + x( basketball) = 50

40 + x = 50

x = 50-10

x = 10

no of basketball player is 10

Ans b=no. of students plays football=1/5 of total students

1/5×

Ans c=no. of students play cricket=3/5 of total students

3/5×50

30

hence 30 students play cricket

Ans a=let the number of students play basketball=X

a/q

number of students play basketball+number of students play football+number of students play cricket=total students

X+10+30=50

X+40=50

X=50-40

X=10

hence 10 student play basketball
