Answer:

35%

Step-by-step explanation:

cost of mixed tea= 75 per kg.

cost of tea = 350 per kg

tea : mixed tea =  2:3

if the weight of mixture is 1 kg.

2x+3x

---------- = 1

5

⇒5x= 5

⇒x=1

∴ weight of tea = 2x / 5 = 2/5 kg

weight of mixed tea = 3x /5 = 3/5 kg

cost of 2/5 kg tea = 2/5×350= 700/5 = 140

cost of 3/5 kg mixed tea = 3/5×75= 225/5 = 45

total cost of 1 kg of mixture = 140 + 45 = 185 Rs

CP = 185 Rs

SP = 250 Rs (gn)

gain or loss = SP - CP × 100 / CP

= 250 - 185 ×100 / 185

= 35% (aprx)

SINCE IT IS POSITIVE THE MIXTUREVWAS SOLD AT A GAIN OF 35%
