We know that probability is given as

 Proba^{n}=\frac{\:Actual\:No\:of\:favourable\:chances}{Total\:no\:of\:chances}

  • Chances of Getting More than 40 seeds are are in Bag no. 1 ,2,3 and 5

Favourable outcomes= 4

Favourable outcomes= 4 Total Outcomes = 5

Probablity will be

 Proba^{n}=\frac{4}{5}\:or\: 80%

  • No bag contains 49 seeds

Hence Favourable outcomes=0

Hence Favourable outcomes=0 Total outcomes =5

 Probab^{n}=\frac{0}{5}=0\:or0%

  • All bags contain more than 35 seeds

Favourable outcomes =5

Favourable outcomes =5Total no. of outcomes =5

 Probab^{n}=\frac{5}{5}=1  \:or100%
